i just don't know what to do with myself...
i don't know what to do with myself.
this is the first time in six months that i haven't had homework. business school = endless homework. there literally is no end in sight. you think you're finished, and wait, check the syllabus once more, nope you're not!
than as soon as one week is "in the books" (no pun intended), you're on to the next week of more homework than can possibly be expected of any one human in the entire world.
don't get me wrong. i love business school. the balance of this program and working full-time is one of the hardest things i've ever had to do. next to training for my half marathon, i've never put so much effort into something in my life. i love that. because, my h.m. being a perfect example, the end is so completely worth the means of getting there...no matter how excruciating.
this week marks the first week of my "summer break" from b. school. we have six weeks off, five of which will be homework free. saturday mornings are my heavy homework day. whatever i wasn't able to squeeze in between 10pm-2am all week long gets done on my saturday between 10am and 6pm.
so here i am. my first saturday in six months without homework. i've wandered through my little apartment about 12 times already. i cleaned yesterday, so i can't occupy my morning with that. i just finished re-polishing my toe nails, which hasn't been down forever. i'm syncing my ipod. on my 5th cup of coffee. watched a movie on tbs.
five weeks from now i'll think of 100 things i should've done with this spare time. for today, i just don't know what to do with myself. somehow, while the non-productivity drives me crazy, not knowing what to do with myself is a really good feeling.
